Michelle Gascoigne, our Area Manager, is a finalist for Regional Manager of the Year and Rebecca Sanderson, early years teacher at Tynemouth, & Rachel Shevill, early years teacher at zone4kids Whitley Lodge, are finalists for the Early Years Teacher of the Year!
A big congratulations to Michelle, Rebecca and Rachel and a big thank you to all employees who’s support and teamwork have all paid their part in getting into these finals. Only one other nursery in the north east was short listed (Spring, Bensham) so this is a massive achievement!

A very big Tynemouth Nursery welcome to Beth Payne, our new Nursery Manager at Tynemouth Nursery at Billy Mill. Beth has worked in childcare for the last eight years and has had three years experience as a Nursery Manager. Beth, who started today, said, ‘I am really excited to get to know all the children and parents/carers at the Nursery and share my knowledge and experience with all. In my spare time I have two horses and six dogs so a lot of my leisure time is spent competing and walking. I have an open door policy in my office, so please pop in and say hello’. Michelle Gascoigne stated. ‘The Directors and myself were so impressed with Beth’s enthusiasm and bubbly personality that we are sure there are some very exciting times ahead for all the children and staff at Billy Mill’.

North Shields Holiday Club, part of Tynemouth Nursery Group and Zone4kids offer your child a fun filled, action packed school holiday delivered in a safe and supervised environment. Located at Tynemouth Nursery at North Shields for children in Reception to Year & (4 – 11), our Holiday Club will keep your child entertained with a range of activities from LEGO® workshops, Magic shows, sports coaching and day trips out and when the time comes when they simply just want some time to ‘chill and relax’ our sofa area with TV, Games consoles, book corners, and board game area offers that too.
Our holiday club are a great choice for parents looking for regular childcare provision, available as individual days, mornings/afternoons or a week at a time.
